Yes, yes you do. And here’s why….
The mystical, “turn it off, wait, turn it back on,” quick-fix isn’t quite as enigmatic as it seems. Devices contain capacitors that work like little batteries holding onto energy when you run current through them. It takes time for most capacitors to discharge enough of that energy, allowing the router to power down completely.
