Valley Internet will never ask for or ask you to change your WiFi password. If you receive a message like this, it is most likely a hacker impersonating us.
If it seems at all fishy to you, contact us before responding or sharing any information. Learn how to spot a phishing ploy in our article, Phish in Troubled Water.
Next steps:
Please share the hacker’s message, request, or solicitation with us at ValleyInternet as well by contacting us at support (support@valley.email).
Report potential e-scams to FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center by filing a report. If you receive unsolicited e-mail offers or spam, you can also forward the messages to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov. |
