The POE Power Adaptor is used to transmit data and provide power out to ValleyInternet’s antenna. They can be black or white as shown.
In most cases, the port labeled “POE” contains a CAT5 cable that runs to the antenna. The port labeled “LAN” connects to port 5 of ValleyInternet’s Smart Adaptor. (In setups without a ValleyInternet Smart Adaptor, the “LAN” port connects to your router’s Internet or WAN port.)
The POE Power Adaptor should have a solid lit LED as shown in the picture just above the word 'Power' indicating it is powered and operational.
To power cycle the POE Power Adaptor and the antenna it powers, simply remove the power cable from the end of the POE Power Adaptor or the power outlet it’s plugged into, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
